Nature's Plate
Whole-food snack provider
Third Bend Studio is partnering with Denton’s own Nature's Plate to provide our children with morning and afternoon snacks!
Nature’s Plate creates delicious, plant-based food with an emphasis on whole foods, thoughtful ingredients, and options for a variety of dietary needs. We love that the food we’ll be sharing with children comes from people right here in our community who care deeply about what they make. We also love how this will allow us to minimize our waste by not using single use plastic snack packaging.
And somehow, their generosity didn’t stop at snacks.
As we worked to get Third Bend ready to open, Nature’s Plate donated a refrigerator, food-prep counter, storage shelving, and lots of tiny helpful things to our studio. These are huge, tangible gifts that helped us build the food space our children will use every single day. We are incredibly grateful to have a local business believe in what we’re building and show up for us in such a generous way.
If you haven’t checked out Nature’s Plate yet, please do! They offer an incredible rotating selection of plant-based meals, breakfasts, baked treats, desserts, and more for pickup and delivery. Supporting them means supporting a business that is also actively investing back into the Denton community!

The Denton Dapper Devil: Ink and Blade
Amazing barbers, artists, and neighbors extraordinaire.
We feel incredibly lucky to share a little corner of Denton with Anthony Proa and the Denton Dapper Devils. They’ve been amazing neighbors from the very beginning — generous, welcoming, creative, full of great ideas, and the kind of community members who make a place feel more alive just by being part of it.
Anthony and the Dapper Devils crew have graciously shared some of their own backyard space with us so we could extend our outdoor play area, helped make sure our shared building stays beautiful and cared for, and welcomed our children and families with so much warmth. They also happen to give some of the coolest, happiest haircuts in town.
One of our favorite little parts of the day is watching people walk out after a fresh cut and catch their reflection in our big studio windows — the quick turn, the smile, the double take. Our kids get a pretty great view, too. Between the people coming and going, the creativity next door, and Anthony himself being such a wonderful character to spot through the window, the Dapper Devils have become part of the everyday landscape of Third Bend.
We’re so grateful to have neighbors who are also inspiring artists, thoughtful collaborators, and wonderfully good community people.
